Bovil Rd SE4

It’s so cool to be invited back by the client to do more work. We did the front garden the year before and came into re design and build the back once the rear extension was done.

The lovely, slatted cedar fencing compliments the timber cladding of the extension creating a holistic feel and softening the space whilst providing a contemporary statement. The space being a corner site had a quite dilapidated boundary wall so cladding the interior and creating a wraparound feel was a good option.

The raised bed supports the wrap around corner feel giving structure and accentuating the clean lines of the Cedar. The space has two social spaces separated by a well-proportioned lawn adding green vibes.
The surface materials finally chosen for the hard standing were Belgium clinkers. Not used enough for back garden hard standings and more reserved for driveway but that’s just a waste. They really bring their own feel and flavour to the space and work well with the architectural Scandinavian themed extension. I do love the interior to exterior shots, colour pallets and design working as they should, effortlessly.
